2005 FORD ESCAPE XLS 4x4

This is another affordable option for an economical 4wd SUV. This has the 2.3L engine, automatic transmission, full time electronic 4wd, and 180k miles. This is the same engine found in the Ford Ranger pickups among other vehicles, and is a simple, reliable powertrain from my experience. This one runs well with no warning lights, transmission shifts as it should, and it seems to drive nicely overall. Aftermarket remote starter has been installed. Does have some regular wear and tear inside and out as can be expected for the age and miles, but I would consider in to be in good condition as a whole. Has some rust at the rear fenderwells which was pretty common on these. Interior is pretty standard with cloth seating for 5. Good heater, power windows and locks. All season tires have good tread. Its priced at 2950.
