2005 Polaris 500 Sportsman ATP

This is a great ATV that has a pickup box on back. Everyone knows that the Polaris 500 Sportsman is one of the best ATVs ever made. The motor and transmission last forever and has enough power to be fun and useful without being overpowering. This machine has the legendary Polaris 500 Sportsman 500 H.O. motor but with a box on back for extra storage. On top of that there is a selectable rear differential so you can lock up the rear tires or have an open differential and not tear up your grass and make it handle correctly on pavement, as well as selectable 4WD. The clutches cleaned and checked over and a new Polaris belt was put on less than 100 miles ago. The carburetor was cleaned and had a new Jet Needle and Needle Jet (only known issue with this machine) installed at the same time. It has an original Polaris winch that works great. Tires are Sedona Coyote that have less than 50 miles on them. Oil was just changed and it's ready to go.

This would be a great machine for guys going ice fishing, driving on pavement or cultured turf (the selectable rear differential makes them coveted by drag strips and golf courses), or just farmer/ranchers that need a good machine for around the farm. It's mechanically in great shape and ready to run.
