Tequila's sire, Whisper Smartly (Doc), was sired by the great Smart Little Lena ($743,275), NCHA Triple Crown, Equistat #1 All-Time Leading Cutting Sire, an NRHS and NRCHA All-Time Leading Sire. Doc's dam, Whisper ofa Playgirl, sired by Freckles Playboy earned $158,349 herself and qualified for the JR Cutting World Show in 1994. Whisper Smartly was laid to rest due to cancer in Sept 2023. This foal is part of his one and only foal crop at LXHR.

Tequila's dam, LXH Shining Tess, is sired by our very own Freckles Shining Ace who is a grandson of Shining Spark. Tess's dam, A Noble Investment goes back to the greats of Doc Bar, Poco Bueno, Noble Tradition, and Mr Blackburn 40.

Tequila is stocky, friendly, halters, and leads. She has a smaller hernia that needs to be repaired, which is reflected in her price. Open to offers as well.
