Part-Time/On-Call Snow Removal Technician $35 / Hour

Job Description - Hiring Multiple Candidates!

Prairie View has an opportunity for on-call Snow Removal Technicians. We are seeking individuals not looking for full time work but would like work in a part time/on-call position (including weekends). Notice for the need to work would be as early as possible, based on forecast. Hours would vary with weather patterns.

Duties

Participate in the de-icing and removal of snow from walks, driveways, and parking lots for commercial/residential properties in small teams.

Use snow removal equipment such as snow blowers & shovels.

Maintain a safe job site, ensuring property is not damaged in the efforts of removing snow

Maintain and care for company provided equipment, tools, and vehicles

Perform highly physical work outdoors in all weather conditions

Meet contract scheduled deadlines without sacrificing customer service or quality standards

This is a weather dependent position with no guaranteed hours

Requirements

Position prefers a valid drivers license, reliable transportation, and the ability to work early mornings, nights, and weekends. Clear communication and efficient timeframes for picking individuals up for work is not preferred but possible on a case-by-case basis.

Ability to perform physical snow removal requirements

o Ability to lift over 25 pounds

o Continuous, repetitive motions

o Operate snow removal equipment (snow blower, shovel)

Ability to work in winter weather conditions

Punctual and dependable to work when necessary

Good work ethic with the ability to work within a diverse team atmosphere
