Description: Meet, greet, and seat patrons in a friendly welcoming manner. Ushers at assigned entrances. Takes tickets at assigned locations.

Examples of Duties

Meet, greet, and seat patrons in a friendly, welcoming manner.

Provides primary face-to-face contact with patrons.

Ushers at entrances to help patrons take the correct direction and find their seats.

Maintains proper image and generate positive public relations.

Assist patrons with disabilities.

Scans tickets for ticketed events.

Assist with ticketing or seating problems that occur at performances.

Counts drop after event starts.

Direct patrons to the concessions area, restrooms, smoking areas, etc.

Protects building entrances from individuals entering building without tickets.

Provides general security and reports any inappropriate actions and safety hazards to management.

Performs other duties of a comparable level/type as required.

Qualifications:

Completion of high school or equivalent. Interest in the entertainment industry and a willingness to work flexible hours.
