This was a fun project, but Ive run out of time and interest, and its been sitting too long. It deserves a good home with someone who knows what theyre getting. Runs and drives, and theres a ton of aftermarket parts and support available for these E30s!
The Good:
Rebuilt CV axles (done in Colorado)
New brakes and rotors (not yet installed)
Upgraded A/C & new blower motor
New battery
Factory heated leather seats (drivers seat is worn, but overall interior is in good shape)
Sunroof
Dash cover installed
Factory 15-inch wheels (most E30s had 14s) includes factory center lock hub tool
Extras included: Front lip & rear spoiler
The Not-So-Good:
Needs a rear passenger window switch ($10 on Amazon)
Suspension issue I had someone install aftermarket suspension but ordered the wrong front shocks and welded them to a factory part. The car currently sits nose-up. You can either modify whats there or replace the front suspension with factory parts. The aftermarket shocks are nice and fully adjustable. (just not low enough for the front)
Fuel gauge is stuck
Odometer just stopped working I tracked mileage by resetting the trip meter, and on the last fill-up, it quit.
Final Thoughts:
This is an awesome car that gets a ton of attention and thumbs-ups. With a little TLC and some minor fixes, you could have something really special thats fun to drive and capable of handling Midwest weather.
Let me know if you have any questions or want to come check it out.
