Incredible JourneyYou are viewing Selkirk Rex brothers coming from CFA registered Selkirk Rex parents. These kittens were born Oct. 20th and Oct 21st, 2024.The mother had a complicated pregnancy and delivery producing two stillborn kittens along with a kitten that was euthanized due to a severe hernia. Hope (the curly haired kitten of the two) was born, but Miracle (who's name is fitting because of what he's been through) was born the following day by emergency C-section, given oxygen due to weakness, and wasn't really expected to make it. To add insult to injury, he also ended up with a belly button infection which spread to one of his joints.I have bottle fed these kittens since birth because the mother didn't know what to do, and was probably traumatized by the whole experience herself. The kittens have finally recently weaned from the bottle, and they are getting super playful. Obviously, they have been well socialized due to bottle feeding. They are also socialized to other cats, and know the sounds of dogs, but are kept in a separate room from them. I encourage you to research the Selkirk Rex breed if you have your heart set on these kittens. They are known for their curly hair and gentle temperaments. Miracle is the straight-haired kitten. He did not inherit the curly gene. Both kittens are long haired. For more information please contact me because I think I have run out of typing space. Thanks!
